"Four Afghan Civil Order policemen were killed and one policeman was wounded following an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in Sangin district of Helmand province Tuesday," Omar Zwak, a provincial government spokesman, told Xinhua. Helmand is notorious for poppy growing. The area is a known Taliban hotbed.
