New Delhi: Neptune is the eighth planet from the Sun in the Solar System. It is the fourth largest in terms of diameter and third largest with respect to mass.
Neptune is the most dense among the giants planets of the Solar System.

The planet takes almost 165 Earth years to orbit our Sun as it is more than 30 times as far from the it.
