Congress declares media team for UP

Former UP minister Satyadev Tripathi was named the head of the media department of state Congress.

Lucknow: Former UP minister Satyadev Tripathi was on Friday named the head of the media department of state Congress.

Tripathi will be the chairman of the communication (media) department and would have a team of six spokesmen, Congress general secretary Madhusudan Mistry declared.
Shiv Pandey would be the in-charge of social media and Tariq Siddiqui would handle the analysis wing, a party release said.
The declaration comes a day after Congress announced the UPCC executive committee comprising 32 vice-presidents, one treasurer, 61 general secretaries, 13 organisation secretaries, 134 secretaries, 45 executive committee members and party leaders in both the houses of the legislatures as two permanent invitees.
