Sitapur: A man was murdered and later his body was burnt by unidentified persons in Jamauli village in Reosa area here, police said on Thursday.
The incident took place on Wednesday night when some persons killed the man and later burnt his body along with his motorcycle to avoid identification, police said.
The police are probing the matter and trying to ascertain the identity of the victim.
