Minor gang-raped by two youths

Muzaffarnagar: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by two youths at Kandhla town of Shamli district, a police officer said on Friday.

The minor girl was picked up from her house and taken to a nearby tubewell by the two identified as Rihan and Sannu, who then gangraped her yesterday, SHO RK Sharma said.

During search, she was found unconscious.

The accused had threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the incident, the SHO said.

Police have registered a case against the two, who are absconding and the girl has been sent for medical examination.
