Lucknow: In yet another indication of growing lawlessness in the Samajawadi Party (SP) ruled Uttar Pradesh, a minor girl was set on fire by three men for opposing eve-teasing in Sambhal district of the state on Monday.
According to reports, the minor girl was set ablaze after she resisted eve-teasing by three men in Sambhal district near Moradabad.
The girl was badly injured and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The local police was also informed about the incident and it has now begun investigating the matter.
