Simon Cowell bans `BGT` contestants from talking about him or the show

London: Simon Cowell has issued a strict contract to all `Britain`s Got Talent` (BGT) contestants, which bans them from even mentioning the media mogul and the show.

`BGT` qualifiers cannot mention about the gagging clause that prevents them from talking about it, the Mirror reported. An 3-page agreement between Cowell`s company Syco and the wannabes stops them from making "any disclosure to the press" both during the show and after "termination." One source who has seen the contract said that compared to other TV show contracts, the scale and sheer number of the confidentiality clauses are highly unusual. The hopefuls must not talk to the media about "any of the Talent...including for the avoidance of doubt Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden." They have also been banned from revealing any incidents taking part in any house or home where ever in the world belonging to any judges. Revealing details of the BGT audition or selection process has also been also forbidden. The contestants are advised to read the agreement carefully before signing it and becoming prevented from talking about the ban and revealing its very "existence." Social network uploads have also been ruled out. Contestants can only talk with permission from Syco. Another source added that it must seem pretty draconian contract but contestants sign it when they get to the latter stages, if they don`t abide by it, they can get sued. ANI
