Karan Johar's throwback picture from DEBUT role will blow your mind!

New Delhi: One of the greatest filmmakers in Hindi cinema, Karan Johar has taken the legacy of his father Yash Johar to new heights. Dharma productions honcho is known for producing and directing a variety of films ranging from romance, comedy, thriller to off-beat cinema.

But only many know that Karan's tryst with the showbiz world started at a very young age. He made his acting debut, not in Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet' but long back in 1989. Yes! That's exactly what you read.

Karan made his acting debut in the 1989 Doordarshan television serial titled Indradhanush. And guess what? Veteran actress Shabana Azmi just shared a throwback picture where a teenage KJo can be seen along with her nephew Sagar Arya.
