The International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently unveiled the schedule for the ODI World Cup 2023, which is set to commence on October 5. Mohali

Mohali, located near Chandigarh in Punjab, is known for its state-of-the-art cricket stadium, the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium. Having previously hosted numerous high-profile matches, including the World Cup semi-finals in 1996 and 2011, it came as a surprise that Mohali did not make the cut this time. The stadium's capacity and historical significance make it a popular choice for cricket enthusiasts, but unfortunately, it won't be part of the World Cup action.
