Australia has been facing the worst flooding situation in over 60 years. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said on Wednesday (March 24) that heavy-load helicopters would be prepared to transport food to supermarkets where supplies have run short.

Suburb of Windsor inundated after incessant downpour
As per the Insurance Council of Australia, 17,000 damages claims worth about A$254.2 million ($193.32 million) was lodged by Wednesday morning across New South Wales and Queensland, Reuters reported.
