The Chief Minister stated that the primary objectives of the project are to reduce congestion on major roads, cut travel time and fuel consumption, and lower vehicular emissions. She said the systems will expand to 600 poles and highlighted broader plans, including EV buses, Metro expansion, AI-based dust monitoring, and large-scale sprinkling to make Delhi cleaner and more sustainable.
