Sikar student gang-rape: School director, teacher arrested; NCW seeks action

Sikar: The Sikar Police have arrested the director and a teacher of a local school here in connection with the horrific gang-rape of a high school student.

According to ANI, the duo, identified as Jagdish and Jagat respectively, had allegedly been raping the student for a long time and even impregnated her.

The incident came to light after the victim was rushed to a hospital on Monday for excessive bleeding.

The girl is now undergoing treatment in a Jaipur hospital and said to be in a critical condition.

A team led by Superintendent of Police, Kushal Singh Khinchi, is probing the matter.

Meanwhile, a team of National Commission for Women is scheduled to visit the school today.

The panel has demanded strict action against the accused and cancellation of school's registration in view of the horrific incident.
