New Delhi: Not many had heard of Tabraiz Shamsi when he was named by Virat Kohli's RCB as replacement for the injured Samuel Badree. 

After his two outings in the Indian Premier League, Shamsi has managed grab the attention of several fans.

While he hasn't really taken the league by storm, Shamsi's performance (2 wickets in 2 matches) so far suggests he has a bright future ahead of him.

Shamsi began his cricketing career at Gauteng and currently represents the Titans

In 68 first-class matches, he has picked up 272 wickets at an economy rate of 3.44

In 46 T20 matches, Shamsi has scalped 47 wickets at an economy rate of 7.04

He has represented the South African A side against the touring England XI in a T20 warm-up match
