Irfan Pathan: India all-rounder to tie nuptial knot next month

New Delhi: If media reports are to be believed, then India all-rounder Irfan Pathan is set to tie the nuptial knot this February.

In fact, sources are also claiming that the wedding is going to take place in the first or second week of next month.

In the recent past, many Indian cricketers got married, which include – Harbhajan Singh, Dinesh Karthik, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin and many others.

However, Pathan and his family are extremely tight-lipped about the wedding preparations.

"The news of me getting married in February is true. Beyond that, I don't want to say much on this and will issue a small statement in a few days," a report in the Times of India quoted him as saying.

The 31-year-old cricketer had performed brilliantly in recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. However his team lost the summit clash to Suresh Raina-led Uttar Pradesh.

Discarded India all-rounder played his last international match against South Africa in a T20 at Colombo on October 2, 2012.
