Kevin Pietersen to miss BBL match to attend birth of 2nd child: Reports

New Delhi: Former England batsman, Kevin Pietersen is set to miss the match against Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League due to the birth of his second child.

Key player for Melbourne Stars, KP, might be at home when his side plays against Sixers on December 27.

However, the franchise is expected the big-hitter to join the team before the derby clash against Melbourne Renegades, scheduled for January 2.

Pietersen, 35, was in red hot form during the recently concluded South Africa T20 league.

While playing for KwaZulu-Natal Dolphins, who lost in the finals, KP smashed two centuries, accumulating 401 runs at an impressive average of 80.20.
