Adele regrets not recognising Timberlake

Adele is regretful of missing the opportunity to meet Justin Timberlake.

Los Angeles, March 6: This year Grammy winning singer Adele is regretful of missing the opportunity to meet superstar Justin Timberlake, after she failed to recognise him backstage at the award ceremony.The 19-year-old singer recalled the experience during an interview with People magazine.

"In the hallway after I`d won two Grammys, he grabbed me and he`s like, `Congratulations`. I was so totally overwhelmed about the Grammys that I didn`t even realize it was Justin," the singer said. "Then, 10 yards down the huge hallway in the Staples Center, I just heard this huge scream and realized I was screaming my head off," said the "Soul" singer. The "Breakout" singer sent out a message to Timberlake through the interview, when she said, "Justin, I love you and I`m really sorry ... for making it seem like I didn`t want to meet you, I really did – and I don`t think we can ever be friends because you`re just too much.
