New Delhi: The football fans across the world are embroiled in a raging debate ever since Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez executed their audacious double on Sunday.
Barca were already leading 3-1 when Messi was chopped down inside the area after an outrageous piece of skill on the by-line.
However, instead of handing the spot-kick to Suarez, Messi went one better by rolling the ball into the path of the onrushing former Liverpool striker to slot home.
While the home fans at the Camp Nou enjoyed every moment, not everybody saw the funny side of the incident.
From genius to disrespectful, Messi and his Barcelona side sharply divided public opinion with that penalty.

Odd that so many think Messi's penalty to Suarez is disrespectful. Disrespectful to who? It was fun. Football should be fun & entertaining. — Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) February 15, 2016
