Olympic medal is a dream but don`t want to take pressure: Saina Nehwal

London: It`s her "dream" to win a medal at the Olympics, but India`s ace shuttler Saina Nehwal doesn`t want to get bogged down by pressure, and said she is banking on her experience to advance through a "tough" draw at the badminton event of the London Games.

"That`s (Winning a medal) a dream for every Indian and me. But I don`t want to put too much pressure on myself," said the 22-year-old, who missed out of a medal on her Olympic debut at Beijing Games following her quarterfinal defeat to Indonesian Maria Kristin Yulianti. The World number five, who will begin her campaign against unheralded Swiss Sabrina Jaquet, is expected to face stiff challenge from Dutch Yao Jie and two-time All England Champion Tine Baun of Denmark en route to the semifinals and the Indian said she is expecting some good matches. "The draw looks quite tough. I`ve played them before and they`ve given me challenges. I`m expecting good matches. But I`m just going to take it one match at a time," said the 22-year-old. "I have developed as a player. This is my second Olympics and I want to be more relaxed and not take on too much pressure," added Saina, who made her Olympic debut as an 18-year-old at the Beijing Games in 2008. Saina, who has been clubbed in Group E along with Sabrina and Lianne Tan of Belgium, is one of the frontrunners to win the gold, besides the Chinese trioka of world number one Wang Yihan, second seed Wang Xin and Li Xuerui.
