Lucknow-based TV show 'Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai' completes one year

Uttar Pradesh has been home to several talented actors, writers and technicians across Hindi cinema and the television industry. Over the years, the state and its capital, Lucknow, have been an inspiration for several blockbuster movies, OTT content, and now a television show. On March 30, 2021, &TV, in the first-of-its-kind endeavour, launched a Lucknow-based situational comedy 'Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai' With an entirely local production unit and a cast featuring Akansha Sharma as Sakina Mirza, Farhana Parveen as Shanti Mishra, Pawan Singh as Zafar Ali Mirza, and Amrish Bobby as Ram Chandra Mishra, this show sets a new benchmark in the Hindi GEC industry. As the show successfully completed a year, the entire team came together to celebrate this momentous moment at a party held in the city.

Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh was reportedly arrested by the Hansi Police in Haryana on Saturday in a case lodged against him for using a casteist slur against spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. According to reports, Yuvraj was interrogated for three hours before being released on interim bail. “Yuvraj Singh was arrested under section 153A and section 505 of the Indian Penal Code,” it said. It is learnt that the incident dates back to June 2020 when Yuvraj made a derogatory remark, although jokingly, towards Chahal during an Instagram Live session with India opener Rohit Sharma.
