Shraddha Kapoor has not met 'Baahubali' Prabhas?

New Delhi: After the unfathomable success of SS Rajamouli's 'Baahubali 1 and 2', South superstar Prabhas is seen as the next best thing in Hindi cinema. The actor's horizon has broadened as many A-listed Bollywood filmmakers want to work with him.

There is much speculation about Prabhas' next venture 'Saaho' and rightly so, after all, he is the ultimate 'Baahubali' everyone wants to see on the big screens. But interestingly, ever since the venture was announced, the buzz has always been about the female casting in the film.

After many names went viral, it was Bollywood's quintessential girl-next-door Shraddha Kapoor who managed to bag the lead role in 'Saaho'. Now, with Prabhas and Shraddha coming together for the first time, the excitement among fans is only palpable.

In an interview with Mid-Day, Shraddha revealed that she hasn't even met Prabhas in person. Can you believe it? She has been quoted as saying, “I am dying to meet Baahubali. Unfortunately, we’ve not met but regularly connect on calls and texts. We will start shooting this month.”

'Saaho' is written and directed by Sujeeth. It has a huge ensemble cast starring Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar, Tinnu Anand, Narendra Jha, Aditya Srivastava Lal and Vennela Kishore.
