Ranbir-Priyanka`s `Anjaana Anjani` to have two title tracks

Ranbir Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra starrer `Anjaana Anjaani`, which is set to hit theatres next month, would have two title tracks.

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra starrer `Anjaana Anjaani`, which is set to hit theatres next month, would have two title tracks.
"We have composed two title songs for the movie. While the first is slow one, the second is a fast club song," its music composer, Shekhar Ravijani told reporters. Anjaana Anjaani is story of two individuals who decide to commit suicide after several failed attempts at love. They come to the same bridge to do so and the ironic encounter becomes the starting point of a long-term friendship. Part of the Vishal-Shekar duo, Shekhar is noted for composing peppy numbers for movies like `Jhankaar Beats`, `Om Shanti Om`, `Bluffmaster`, `Dostana` and `I Hate Luv Storys`. "The sound track depends upon the script given to us. We follow the brief given to us by the director. We have also done movies like `Shabd` which was a mature love story and demanded a similar music," he said. On how judging a music reality show helps him as a composer, Shekhar said it was a good medium to explore new talent. "Only a show like `Sa Re Ga Ma Pa` travels throughout the country to hunt for hidden talent," he said. "We require a lot of new voices, with new textures...new talent," he said. Shekhar, along with Vishal, Sajid-Wajid and Daler Mehndi, is currently judging `Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstars`. On the frequent criticism artists and singers from the neighbouring country have to face in India, Shekhar said music can solve the problems between two countries. "Music breaks boundaries. For me, there is no difference between a singer from Pakistan and any other part of India. A good singer can be from any place of the world and we like to use talent." "Music is above political stuff happening between two countries," he added. The Vishal-Shekhar composer-duo have used Pakistani Rahat Fateh Ali Khan`s voice for three of their movies - `Om Shanti Om`, `I Hate Love Storys` and `Anjaana Anjaani`. After `Anjaana Anjaani`, Shekhar said they are looking forward to `Break Ke Baad`, `Tees Maar Khan` and `Ra.one`. "All of them are different and very, very special," Shekhar said. PTI
