Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has jetted in to earthquake-ravaged Haiti to join actor Sean Penn on a visit to a camp set up for victims of the disaster.

London: Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has jetted in to earthquake-ravaged Haiti to join actor Sean Penn on a visit to a camp set up for victims of the disaster. Penn, 51, who has been at the forefront of relief efforts in the country, said "the world`s most elegant woman" will help raise awareness, Contactmusic reported.
"Everybody who has spent time in Haiti knows how important it is for the world to see what is going on here. We really appreciate that she`s here with us," Penn said. Winfrey, 57, who arrived in Haiti on December 12, said, "This is part of the next chapter, going around the world to see interesting and fascinating cases of profound examples of what can be done to make a difference in the world." The chat show host will also feature Penn`s work in Haiti on a special programme on her Oprah Winfrey Network. PTI
