Apple releases update to its Retina MacBook line

New Delhi: Apple Inc has released an update on its 12-inch Retina MacBook line. The update includes betterment in the overall performance as well as a Rose Gold color option.

On the performance side, the new Retina MacBook promises better battery life, Skylake processors, the same keyboard and thin design.

The color addition puts the new MacBooks on par with Apple's iOS devices -- now all available in Space Grey, Gold, Silver and Rose Gold.

The Retina MacBook -- which was introduced one year ago -- is available in two configurations. One comes with 8 GB of memory, 256 GB of storage and a 1.1 GHz processor. The other version comes with a faster processor and 512 GB of flash memory.

The starting price of new Macbook in India is approximately Rs 1.06 lakh, media reports say.
