SRK, Kareena walk red carpet at Ra.One`s Dubai premiere

Dubai: Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan alongwith Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, walked the red carpet at the world premiere of his magnum opus `Ra.One` here.

Greeted by hundreds of delirious fans, the cast and crew of the film - including actress Shahana Goswami, child actor Armaan Verma, director Anubhav Sinha and designer Manish Malhotra - walked the red carpet at Dubai Grand Hyatt`s cinema on Monday. As Dubaiites prepared for Diwali, Shahrukh said his new movie was the perfect family entertainer to celebrate with. "The film`s message is - as long as you have goodness in your heart you will always be a superhero," he said. The 45-year-old actor thanked Dubai for the warmth he receives during his visits here. The film`s director Anubhav said that a sequel to the movie will definitely be made. "It has all the qualities of a Diwali film. It`s happy, nice and has great songs ? it`s just what people want to see," he said, adding that in real life parents who take care of their kids are superheroes. Fans waited for hours to catch a glimpse of the stars. Following the premiere, SRK attended a charity auction dinner for a local paediatric therapy centre. The actor-producer is scheduled to leave Dubai on Tuesday for the film`s premiere in London and Toronto. PTI
