Eva Mendes says she’d love to star in ‘Anchorman’ sequel

London: Eva Mendes has extended support in the bid for a sequel of ‘Anchorman’, saying she would love to star if it gets made.

US Studio Paramount has not gathered much enough cash to get the ball rolling on a sequel. However, Eva - who stars opposite Will Farrell in new movie ‘The Other Guys’ – has said that she would love to star alonside legendary newsman Ron Burgandy. "Anchorman is my favourite movie ever,” the Sun quoted her as saying. "I think it`s mad they are not making a sequel. I`d love to be in it. Ron is my hero!" she added. ANI
