Britney Spears splurges $8.5 million on California home

Washington: Britney Spears has splashed out 8.5 million dollars on a stylish new mansion.

The 2,577 square metre home is situated inside an ultra-posh gated community in Thousand Oaks, California - more than 60 km from the temptations of downtown Los Angeles. It boasts five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a wine cellar, a home theatre and an enormous infinity pool. The 30-year-old songstress has decided to embrace a quieter lifestyle for the sake of her sons, Sean Preston, seven, and Jayden James, six, according to celebrity website Radar Online. However ‘The X Factor’ USA judge is yet to move in her new house, as of now she is still filming the talent hunt show and stays in a plush hotel in Los Angeles. ANI
