Manyata miffed with hubby Sanjay Dutt over LS candidature?

Mumbai, April 12: With Supreme Court’s fresh directive jeopardizing actor Sanjay Dutt’s designs to contest Lok Sabha elections from Samajwadi Party; news has it that Sanjay campaigning for Nafisa Ali has incurred the ire of Manyata. A miffed Manyata has taken off to Bahamas as she is upset over Sanjay’s refusal to let her fight in the upcoming LS elections, which was also the idea of Samajwadi Party. However, with Sanjay announcing the name of Nafisa Ali and saying, “Manyata recommended Nafisa’s name”, the party high command went along with Sanju’s decision and Manyata soon realized that things stand contradictory now. With Sanjay in the thick of election campaigning, Manyata is hardly in the picture. According to a reliable source, it is believed that Manyata was enthusiastic to contest in LS elections “But Sanjay Dutt put his foot down and told her that she should not even consider contesting.” This took an ugly turn and an annoyed Manyata left for Bahamas for a property transaction. When asked Dharam Oberoi, Sanjay’s secretary and a close associate authenticated the news and said that Manyata who went to Bahamas is presently in London to look after her textile business. However, Dharam refrained from commenting on any spat between the couple and said, “I have been instructed by my boss not to entertain the media and I would not like to comment on any matter pertaining to him.” With news of Sanjay and Priya’s rivalry doing rounds, the actor has been trying hard to be a good brother. While Sunil Dutt left his entire legacy to Sanjay, the generous actor has shared the property in equal parts with his two sisters. According to a source, “Sanjay, who was extremely protective about his sisters Namrata and Priya, suggested that the property be shared in equal parts between the three siblings. He actually played very fair with his sisters.” It seems our ‘Munna Bhai’ is caught in a quagmire of personal relationships and political career.
