Long-distance relationship is tough: Alexandra Burke

London: Pop star Alexandra Burke says she finds it "hard" being in a long-distance relationship with her America-based boyfriend Marcus Anthony.

The `Elephant` hitmaker has been dating the US-based singer-songwriter since last October and relies on internet video call software Skype to stay in touch with her boyfriend, Contactmusic reported. "We`re still dating exclusively but long-distance love is very hard. He`s in America and I haven`t seen him for a couple of months because we`re both so busy. It`s not easy at all, but the more you dwell on it the more it gets to you. Skype is brilliant though," she said. While she and Anthony have been together for four months, he is not the person Burke turns to when she needs support. "Having a long-distance relationship doesn`t make you feel like you have someone who`s there. They can`t give you a cuddle if you want one. I wouldn`t rely on him for support when I`ve got my team here. If I need to have a cry, I know they`re there for me. Sometimes my head is all over the place." PTI
