On this special day, Ash’s entire family, including her parents, in-laws Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan and husband Abhishek will be present at the ceremony to double her joy. “Since its Ash’s birthday, all the family members have kept themselves free for attending the ceremony. The honour has been evading her for the past three years, so everyone wants to make it very special for her this time around,” says an industry insider. Before Ash, others who have been honoured with the award include Shah Rukh Khan, Nandita Das, Habib Tanvir and Hollywood big wigs like George Clooney and Meryl Streep. “Ash is happy about the fact that she happens to be the youngest recipient. It’s going to be a very emotional moment for her,” revealed a source to a national daily.
