Pete Doherty plans rehab spell in April?

London: Singer Pete Doherty is heading back to rehab in a bid to finally put his drug problems behind him.

The Libertines frontman has battled addictions to heroin and crack cocaine for almost 10 years and he is currently attempting to swap hard drugs for regulated substitutes, Daily Express reported. "You have to reach an all-time low apparently. Before you truly surrender. I`ve got a long way to go. It`s Peter Doherty. Thought you might be interested to know that I`m booked to go to rehab at the end of April," he said. The Babyshambles star has endured numerous legal troubles in the past due to his drug habit and spent several months in jail last year after he admitted a charge of possessing cocaine. PTI
