Guy Ritchie wants Pitt for sequel to Sherlock Holmes
Noted British filmmaker Guy Ritchie is reportedly eying Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt to star in the sequel to the movie, `Sherlock Holmes`.

Los Angeles: Noted British filmmaker Guy Ritchie is reportedly eying Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt to star in the sequel to the movie, `Sherlock Holmes`.The 41-year-old director, who worked alongside Pitt in 2000`s crime caper `Snatch`, was rumoured to have considered the actor for a cameo role in the new big screen adaptation of the famous detective stories.
He is now planning to rope in Pitt for the role of Holmes` arch enemy Professor Moriarty in the sequel to the movie, Popeater.com reported.
"The director, Guy Ritchie, loves Brad. He has worked with him before and thinks he is one of the most underrated actors working today. Guy knows that everyone thinks of as a Pitt as a pretty boy and can`t wait to turn him into the world`s greatest supervillain. It will definitely make the sequel a must-see," a source said.
Actors Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law who portray `Holmes` and `Dr Watson` in the movie have reportedly already signed up for the second installment.
