Luke Kenny found it challenging to keep zombie thriller simple

Mumbai: Actor Luke Kenny, who plays the main lead in ‘Rise of the Zombies’, said to be India`s first zombie thriller, says keeping the story of the film simple was an exciting challenge for the team.

"It (The film) is a beginning of the story. It is the first part of a long story. It is part one of a zombie trilogy, which is going to be coming out in the years to come," Luke said here Tuesday at an event to promote the film. "Every story should begin in a simple way and that is what we have tried. That has been the most exciting challenge - to keep it simple," he added. In the film, Luke plays the role of Neil Parker, a passionate wildlife photographer, who pays more attention to wildlife than his own life and later transforms into a zombie. Directed by Nick Lyon, ‘Rise of the Zombies’ releases Feb 22. IANS
