Aussie pacer Pat Cummins admits he enjoyed the challenge against KL Rahul

New Delhi: Australian pacer Pat Cummins has admitted that he enjoyed the challenge of bowling against Indian batsman KL Rahul.

Their rivalry was seen in the recently concluded India-Australia Test series, which the hosts won 2-1 to regain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

”I enjoyed the challenge against KL Rahul. He is a confident batsman and can take the game on. I am looking forward to the challenge again," Cummins said on the sidelines of a press conference for his IPL franchise, Delhi Daredevils.

Earlier, Rahul praised Cummins, saying "Josh and Cummins in the first session I can say it’s the toughest session I’ve faced in Test cricket so far."

Cummins is likely to spearhead Daredevils' pace bowling with skipper Zaheer Khan and India pacer Mohammed Shami this season.

But Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Rahul has effectively been sidelined from the tournament with a shoulder injury.

IPL 10 will start on Wednesday.
