Right then, this first T20I is set up nicely with both sides being pretty pleased with the proceedings. The United Arab Emirates would have liked to keep New Zealand under 150 but this is a total they will fancy themselves to chase. As far as New Zealand are concerned, they will go into their bowling effort with momentum behind them and they do have the resources to defend this total. We shall find out how the chase unfolds when we return. 

Basil Hameed is in for a chat. He starts by thanking the almighty and says that they pulled things back really well and it is now up to the batters to take them over the line.
