New Delhi: Always critical of what India does in the series, Aussie media got criticism from an unlikely individual on Day of fourth and final Test match in Dharamala.
On Saturday, celebrated Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle asked Aussie media what will they do no as there's no Virat Kohli to be blamed abd no pitch worries either.
No Kohli, fine pitch, toss won, batsmen doing well, beautiful stadium, wonder what the tabloids in Oz will search for now.... — Harsha Bhogle (@bhogleharsha) March 25, 2017
Kohli, who picked up a shoulder injury during the third Test in Ranchi, failed to gain match-fitness and was subsequently sidelined in Dharamsala.
The Indian skipper has been the subject of intense media scrutiny in Australia. Some section of Aussie media have compared Kohli to controversial president of United States Donald Trump.
Other than their Kohli-fixation, Aussies were critical of the nature of Indian pitches. But the Dharamsala pitch, as expected, has been hailed a perfect Test wicket.
Bhogle went the distance to even mention the scenic beauty of the venue, which the Australian team hailed as one of the best.
