Bragging about Akshay costs Kunal Kohli dearly

Akshay Kumar loves to keep his unfinished flicks under wraps as director Kunal Kohli had to pay dearly for speculating that the actor was playing the lead in his upcoming flick. Peeved with Kohli for shouting from the rooftop about Akshay doing his flick, the macho actor walked out of the flick at last moment leaving the director high and dry. Akshay was livid when he heard that Kunal had told his close aides about the same.

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar loves to keep his unfinished flicks under wraps as director Kunal Kohli had to pay dearly for speculating that the actor was playing the lead in his upcoming flick. Peeved with Kohli for shouting from the rooftop about Akshay doing his flick, the macho actor walked out of the flick at last moment leaving the director high and dry. It so happened that after hearing Kohli’s narration, Akshay, who was much too excited about the film, had agreed to play the lead role. Elated at having Akshay onboard, Kohli started to brag about having signed Akki. Reportedly the director not only told his friends in the industry but also media persons. Confirming the news a daily quoted a source as saying, “Akshay was livid when he heard that Kunal had told his close aides and even some sections of the media that he had found the male lead. Kunal got carried away when Akshay showed interest in the subject in their initial talks.” Taken aback by Kunal’s pompous act Akshay decided to walk out of the film. And even though Kunal is clueless about Akki’s impulsive act, sources tell us that the director only has himself to blame. "Now Kunal will have to begin a fresh hunt. But one thing is sure, the next time he will surely not open his mouth in haste”, adds the source. Well this isn’t the first time that this has happened to Kohli. Ever since Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic bombed at the Box Office. b-town a-listers have been snubbing the filmmaker. Till now Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapur, Imran Khan and now Akshay Kumar have declined to work with the director.
