Kareena gets heroines sacked to be the sole attraction in ‘Golmaal 3’

Mumbai: There are two things Kareena Kapoor is fiercely possessive about - Saif Ali Khan and limelight. The stunner loves undivided attention and hates to share the spotlight. In fact, she is so much in love with all the solo-heroine projects she has been doing off late that she has agreed to work in the third installment of the ‘Golmaal’ franchise on condition that she would be the only actress in the flick. Story goes that the film was originally planned with five girls in the lead. But when Kareena was told of the arrangement she blew her top and stated that she would act in the flick only if she were the lone lead actress. Considering Bebo’s large-scale appeal, filmmaker Rohit Shetty was left with little choice but to accept her demand. Talking about Bebo, Rohit told a news daily, “Kareena will be the only female lead along with the five boys - Ajay Devgan, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi and Shreyas Talpade. However, she will not be the romantic interest of any of the heroes. In fact, Kareena will be one of them - the sixth hero! I have also made sure ‘Golmaal 3’ is more family-oriented. The boys’ jokes in ‘Golmaal Returns’ won’t return.” Well, looks like Bebo’s always gets her way!
