Cameron Diaz shaves off her head in new film

London, April 17: Cameron Diaz, known for her bubbly blonde roles, will surprise the fans by adopting a bald look for her next film `My Sister`s Keeper`. The superstar plays the mother of three children in the movie which chronicles the story of a family living with cancer.

Diaz`s character in the film shaves off her blonde locks in a show of solidarity with her cancer-stricken daughter. `My Sister`s Keeper`, adapted from Jodi Picault`s best-selling book, tells the story of the Fitzgerald family, who conceived their youngest child Anna as a genetic match for her leukemia stricken sister Kate, Daily Mail reported. The film is not only expected to become the biggest tearjerker this year but also a defining film for Diaz. It is slated to release on June 26 in UK. The film also stars, Alec Baldwin, Abigail Breslin, Sofia Vassilieva and Jason Patric. Bureau Report
