Mumbai: Salman Khan and John Abraham have a lot in common – both have great bodies to flaunt; they are still single and can give actors half their age a run for their money!
But the fact that the two don’t share a great camaraderie is no new news. The ‘Shootout At Wadala’ star reportedly took a dig at Salman Khan while promoting his upcoming film ‘Madras Café’.
Apparently, a reporter present at the promotional event asked if John’s role in the aforementioned film was anywhere close to that of Salman’s in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. And the hunk of an actor was prompt enough to say that intelligence agents do not flaunt six abs and jump like ‘Spiderman’.
‘Ek Tha Tiger’ produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Kabir Khan had Salman playing a RAW agent who executes daredevil stunt sequences. But John believes that ‘Madras Café’ is no masala film.
Slated to release on August, 23, ‘Madras Café’ directed by Shoojit Sircar also stars ‘Rockstar’ girl Nargis Fakhri. The trailer of the film was launched on July 12, along with the release of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’. The first look of the film looked mighty impressive, and hence, John’s doesn’t want any comparisons.
Are we right John?
