People will die of heart attack if I work with the Khans: Konkona

Mumbai, Jan 29: After essaying various meaningful and artistic roles in movies like ‘Page 3’, ‘The President is Coming’ and ‘Aaja Nachle’, Konkona Sen Sharma is lauded as one of the finest actresses of Bollywood. But, her zero roles in the Khan movies is cause of surprise to many! The beauty would be soon seen in two films opposite the most charming and young actors of B-town – Farhan Akhtar and Ranbir Kapoor. Konkona’s much-awaited flick ‘Luck By Chance’ is all set to hit theatres this Friday. This is her onscreen debut with Farhan Akhtar and their chemistry looks great in the film’s promos. However, on being asked why the beauty hasn’t done any movie opposite the Khans, Konkona in an interview to a news daily said, “Firstly, I`ve never been offered a role opposite them. That`s because I usually do the arty/realistic cinema while they mostly do the mainstream masala entertaining films. When I signed a film with Ranbir, people were stunned. I think they`ll die of a heart attack if I do a film with the Khans.” Her next project is opposite Bollywood chocolate boy Ranbir Kapoor. The Ranbir-Konkona duo would be seen romancing each other in ‘Wake Up Sid’. But, people have voted it to be an odd pair. Justifying her pairing with Ranbir, Konkona said, “I didn`t think it was odd. But I guess it`s because we come from completely different schools. It`s like mixing two very different things. It makes things more interesting." Well, with such artistic talents and majestic charm, Konkona is set to rule the roost pretty soon!
