London: Rihanna has filed a lawsuit against giant fashion chain Topshop for 3 million pounds, after they used an "unflattering" image of her on a T-shirt without her consent.
Topshop brought out a tank top featuring the ` Diamonds ` hit maker`s picture, the Daily Star reported. But the enraged singer has claimed that the snap was not "approved" by her and she would take the store to the High Court in London. The star, 25, has used her real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty in the lawsuit that was presented before a judge on Friday. Her lawyers have alleged that the store has misled her fans into thinking that the tee was official merchandise. The advocates asserted that the brand should have paid for a "license" from Rihanna, like her deal with River Island. However, Topshop slammed the musician`s claims by saying that they were given permission by the photographer to use a picture taken in a public place. ANI
