London: `Pulp Fiction` director Quentin Tarantino Director, is set to be honoured by the London Film Critics` Circle for his contribution to cinema. The 46-year-old filmmaker famed for using nonlinear storylines and aestheticization of violence has been named the recipient of the Dilys Powell award for excellence in cinema and he is flattered by the accolade, a news daily reported.
"This is such an honour. I have always relished discussing my work with film critics," Tarantino said. Tarantino, whose last film `Inglourious Basterds` dealt with the story of a group of guerrilla US soldiers in Nazi occupied France during World War II will be presented with the prize at a ceremony in London, on 18 February next year.
