`Idol` selects first 3 finalists

Los Anfgeles, Feb 19: "American Idol" has selected the first three finalists of season eight. Alexis Grace, a 21-year-old single mother from Memphis, Tenn.; Michael Sarver, a 27-year-old oil rig worker from Jasper, Texas; and Danny Gokey, a 28-year-old church music director from Milwaukee were picked to advance to the next round of the Fox singing competition.
