'American Horror Story: Hotel' cast reveals characters' names

Los Angeles: The upcoming fifth season of anthology series "American Horror Story" will see the return of Kathy Bates as Iris, Angela Bassett as Ramona and Evan Peters will get into the shoes of Mr March.

Co-creator of the show, Ryan Murphy said familiar characters will make a comeback on the season, which is called "American Horror Story: Hotel", reported Entertainment Weekly.

"The Normal Heart" actor Matt Bomer will be the new addition and will play Donovan while Sarah Paulson will return to the series as Hypodermic Sally. Murphy, 49, revealed singing sensation Lady Gaga, who will star on the new season, will play an evil character.

"She said, 'I want to be evil.' And I said, 'OK, you came to the right place'," he said.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" is set to premiere in October this year.
