MJ`s ex-minder drops TV libel action

London: Late King of Pop Michael Jackson`s ex-bodyguard has dropped his High Court libel action against Channel 4 over its 2008 documentary, `The Jacksons Are Coming.` The documentary showcased the journey of the Jackson`s family, including Michael`s older brother Tito, as they planned to move to Devon.

Matthew Fiddes, a Martial arts expert, had earlier alleged that the show fabricated the recording and forged his statements. "The claimant has today discontinued his claim for libel that he brought in relation to the programme," the BBC quoted Adrienne Page QC, Fiddes` lawyer, as saying. Fiddes, of Swindon, was not in court because he had been caught in traffic. ANI
