It's time to see rapper Ranveer Singh on-screen?

New Delhi: He is having a ball right now, enjoying a rightfully earned star status. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh had a terrific 2015 with his films minting huge moolah at the box-office.

Now, the latest buzz around the actor is that he is set to turn a rapper in Zoya Akhtar's next. Yes! According to TOI.com, Zoya's next, which is tentatively titled 'Gully Boy' will see Ranveer play a rapper, who hails from a Mumbai slum to become a sensation.

The film would reportedly require extensive research. The film is being scripted by Zoya and Reema Kagti, report suggests.

However, no official word has been made by either of them as yet.
