Adnan Sami to take legal action against ‘Chance Pe Dance’

Adnan Sami is annoyed with the makers of Shahid-Genelia starrer ‘Chance Pe Dance’ and considering a legal action.

Mumbai: Adnan Sami is annoyed with the makers of Shahid-Genelia starrer ‘Chance Pe Dance’. The music composer-singer is apparently planning to send a legal notice to the team for adding a song to the film’s music score without his consent. However, it is believed that Pritam didn`t know what he was getting into when he agreed to do a song for the film in addition to Sami`s composition. Adnan says, "I had no clue about this. They can`t add any song to my soundtrack. The contract says so. And if they still go ahead, I`ll have to take legal action. I don`t mind. I`m in and out of courts anyway." On the other hand, Pritam seems to be quite embarrassed about getting into trouble unintentionally. He says, "I had no clue Adnan didn`t know about the song. Bhushan Kumar of T-Series asked me to do three to four songs for him, and the track Don`t Stop by Neeraj Sridhar was one of them. Since Bhushan is a friend I gave him the songs. But I had no idea they`d be used in this way. I`ve been told the song won`t be part of the CD." However, Ken Ghosh, the director of ‘Chance Pe Dance’ says, "Pritam is mistaken. His song will be part of the soundtrack. But it won`t be in the film. We`re doing a promotional video out of Pritam`s song. I`m sure Adnan, Pritam and the music company can work this out amicably." A source reveals that Pritam even tried to pacify Adnan by giving him a call to explain his stance, but Adnan is in no mood to listen.
