Kim Kardashian wants to destroy Kris Humphries?

London: Kim Kardashian`s estranged husband Kris Humphries says the reality TV star is trying to damage his reputation.

A statement by Humphries` lawyer has alleged that the socialite is trying to make the world think the basketball player is a terrible person, reported Showbizspy. "Much effort and energy to misdirect the public`s perception of what transpired between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries has taken place over the past several months," said the lawyer. "This case will not be resolved in the court of public opinion amidst ridiculous and defamatory allegations and personal attacks directed against Kris Humphries. Rather, this case will be appropriately investigated and litigated professionally and with integrity." Humphries` legal team also denied reports that claimed that Humphries is demanding a USD 7 million settlement to stay silent. "No demands have been made. While we are encouraged to see an apparent willingness by the other side to put big numbers out in an attempt to settle Humphries` claims, we respect and will continue to observe the integrity of the legal process," his lawyer said. Kardashian filed for divorce from the NBA player just 72 days after they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in August 2011. PTI
