Mumbai: If all goes according to plan, then French president Francois Hollande may be attending the premiere of Preity Zinta’s maiden film as producer, ‘Ishq In Paris’. The decision has been taken after Isabelle’s Indian look in the film created quite a stir in France. The French were pleasantly surprised to see Isabbele donning Indian outfits and bindis for her Bollywood debut, pictures of which were carried in top French publications, including the country`s largest-selling news-weekly Paris Match. The makers have decided to hold a Indo-French premiere where government officials of both the countries are going to make their presence felt. Speaking to a daily a source said, “’Ishkq In Paris’ is being premiered on October 4 or 5 in Paris. Political dignitaries from the highest level from India and France are expected to attend. Isabelle is even using her clout to invite the French President Francois Hollande for the premiere. Director Prem Raj Soni said, “We`re now going to have the premiere in Paris. Isabelle has been all over France in her Indian look. There`s tremendous buzz about India and Indian cinema in France. We`d like to be part of this excitement. Ours is the first Indian film to be covered in the mainstream French press." "All I can tell you is, it will be one of the grandest world premieres of an Indian film. India and France will celebrate the film on one platform,” added Soni. "Isabelle will draw up the list of invitees from Paris.
