Ishant gets Moeen Ali in the last ball before lunch. The ball was banged in short and Moeen takes his eye off the ball and ducks into it - gloves to short leg and he's gone. What a breakthrough! Another twist in the tale. Ishnat has bagged his third wicket of the game.

Moeen Ali and Joe Root continuing England's attacking instinct. They have played better this morning as Joe Root brings up his fifty after plundering Ishant for three boundaries in the 74th over. Jadeja bowls the next and Moeen Ali sees it through. Just two runs come from the over.

The Indian seamers are struggling on the final day as there is no assistance whatsoever for them in the pitch. Moeen and Root are now looking comfortable at the crease. There have been a few edges, which haven't carried to the fielders. India need some luck going their way as these two English batsmen are putting an excellent fightback here.

Over 65 || Score 142/4
India's search for the fifth wicket continues as both Moeen and Root are stitching a pivotal partnership from England's perspective. Dhoni is rotating his bowlers regularly but none of them have managed to get him that much-needed fifth wicket. Jadeja was brought back into the attack in the 65th over and two of deliveries kept very low, something which these two English batsmen would be wary of. The partnership is now worth 70 runs and England trail by 177 runs.

Over 60 || Score 137/4
After a few overs, Dhoni surprised everybody with bringing Dhawan into the attack. He bowled just one over post which Bhuvneshwar and Shami bowled from both the ends. Moeen and Joe on the other hand are getting confident with each passing over. England have a lot of depth in their batting order and India must pick a wicket now to get back in the game.

Meanwhile, Ravi Bopara has some advice for his team-mate Moeen Ali.With Dhoni standing back to Jadeja, I wonder if Moeen Ali could stand a foot out of his crease and take the rough out of play. #fulltoss

Over 55 || Score 126/4
Ishant Sharma created a chance when he bowled one away from Root, who edged it to the slip cordon and the ball fell just short of Dhawan at second slip. Ishant has bowled with a good line and length so far. Meanwhile, Moeen and Joe are not hesitating in punishing the loose deliveries. This partnership is now worth 54 runs and it is now extremely crucial from India's perspective to dismiss at least one of these two batsmen.

England are in a commanding position and MS Dhoni started off the innings with Jadeja from one end and Ishant Sharma from the other. Moeen Ali played a handsome cover drive off Ishant and scored a boundary. Conditions are very overcast at Lord's today and India will hate any rain. Ten runs scored in the last five overs.

The final day of the second Test match at Lord`s enters into a situation with the hosts placed at 105/4 still needing 214 runs to win the Test match and a whole day to at least save it.
Moeen Ali and Joe Root are at the crease and England need a heroic effort to save themselves. It ain`t impossible but the journey to get there on a fifth day wicket at Lord`s seems a tough affair. With an out of form Ben Stokes and unreliable Matt Prior, England`s hopes depend upon Root and Ali.
India on the other hand is in the driver`s seat and it is a situation from where Mahendra Singh Dhoni would love to dictate proceedings. Jadeja, Shami, Ishant and Bhuvneshwar have bowled well as an unit and they need to strike at crucial junctures to see their team registering an unlikely win at Lord`s after a gap of 26 years.
The weather is expected to be good and it will be interesting to see how the pitch shapes up as the day progresses.Stay informed on all the latest news, real-time breaking news updates, and follow all the important headlines in india news and world News on Zee News.
